Keir Wilson - Founder of Kick Kent Sports CharityKeir founded Kick Kent in 2007 after returning from South Africa and Lesotho where he had been working with children in townships for 6 months. On his return to the UK, he used his initiative and started to pursue different avenues going on to win an award from Sport Relief/Unltd as a young social entrepreneur, helping lay the foundations for Kick Kent to grow. 'Keir developed unique sport projects that aimed to divert young people from street culture activities and help increase their self esteem which lead them to realise their potential." I believe Sport is a great tool for engaging young people and helping them to feel part of something positive" He has seen the Charity grow and reach nearly 4,000 young people. He has since set up Kick Papua New Guinea in 2011. |

Salestyn David - Sports Development ManagerSal joined Kick Kent in February 2014. He was a swimming instructor for 3 years and was seeking a fresh challenge. With his love for sport and passion for seeing children develop their potential through sport, Salestyn displayed the spirit, drive and commitment required to carry out the role of Sports Development Manager. "I want to see children achieve their potential in life and Kick Kent allows me to play such a big part in achieving this" In his spare time Sal enjoys playing his guitar and singing. |
Tom Vinall – Operations ManagerTom has been involved with Kick Kent since it was founded in 2008, volunteering as a coach on different projects in Kent. His involvement grew in 2011 when he took up the post as a trustee for the charity. He officially joined Kick Kent in the summer of 2014 as Operations Manager. Tom brings with him 10 years of retail experience. Having been a manager for the past 5 years of his career he has nurtured his leadership skills, business acumen and developed a hunger to be part of something that helps others and gives back to society. Tom's enthusiasm for the charity was obvious when he said 'The experience of being a trustee gave me a deep appreciation for how the charity sector works. My motivation in taking up this post was fuelled by a desire to promote positive change in young people's behaviour. I love taking something from good to great and can't wait to see where we take Kick Kent in the future.' He is a keen sportsman, playing golf, cycling and swimming regularly. Being outside is a passion of Tom's, anything from walking to camping and mountaineering. With his love for travelling, Tom is fortunate to have visited most continents around the world, learning how to be independent and respectful of others and their cultures. |

Ian Summers- Volunteer Coach- UEFA B LicenseIan joined the Kick Kent team in September 2009, he has since moved onto a new role. But still continues to volunteer for the Charity. Ian was instrumental in helping the Charity grow from the early stages. |
