Schools

SchoolsKick Kent has been working with schools since September 2007 in accordance with the National Curriculum requirements.

We provide unique sport schemes to Schools and the popularity of these schemes  has continued to increase. We cover Planning, Preparation and assessment (PPA) time by running a programme of lessons based around Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) themes in a fun sports environment. The aim of each programme is to teach children to increase self confidence, deal with and manage their feelings and emotions and to form, build and maintain healthy, positive relationships.

As the Children work through the practical sessions they are encouraged to become more confident in the theme of the session. Working with schools in accordance with the National Curriculum our aims are for the children to:

  • Become skillful and intelligent peformers
  • Acquire and develop skills
  • Learn how to select and apply skills, tactics and compostional ideas to suit activities
  • Develop their ideas in a creative way

We currently offer the following packages that can be run throughout the entire term. We take a full class and request that a T.A is present at each session.

1 Hour Lesson Price: £30
2 Hour Lesson Price: £50

“The children thoroughly enjoyed it. It gave the children confidence in

not only the football but also in their understanding of how to achieve

their goals in life .

The children were really well motivated to participate in these

sessions and enjoyed the experience immensely. The sessions had clear

links with our SEAL work and highlighted for the children some key

areas of learning. A great time had by all"!
